Enjoy RV campsites at Fort Boonesborough

The park now enjoys many RV campsites throughout

Were you one of the millions who had a Daniel Boone coonskin cap as a kid? Remember to pack it when you take your fifth wheel travel trailer to Kentucky’s Fort Boonesborough State Park! Constructed as a temporary settlement by Daniel Boone and his woodsmen, the park now enjoys many RV campsites throughout, all fully equipped with utility hookups far more luxurious than anything Mr. Boone would have encountered when he first came to the site in April, 1775….

Campsites at the Fort Boonesborough State Park

The Fort Boonesborough State Park is a popular vacation for owners of fifth wheel campers throughout the region. With boat and canoe rentals, kayaks, hiking, horses, water sports, historic fairs and reenactments, the park combines history and recreation to make “there’s nothing to do” an impossibility. July’s Summer Camper Yard Sale even lets you take part in a park wide retail event featuring everything from arts and crafts and antique treasures to self-described “old junk”. Almost anything goes!
