Once you make it down to Indianapolis for the fair, you should know there are lots of other scenic vacation spots nearby you may want to visit with your Keystone Laredo before returning home. The Ohio River snakes along the south-central portion of the state, with scenic hill country and lush farmland where you can find fresh strawberries and blueberries from many a summertime roadside stand.


For anyone who has ever enjoyed the popular family film Breaking Away, Bloomington, Indiana is a must stop. Only an hour south of Indianapolis, this bucolic college town is regularly ranked as one of the most livable cities in the nation. Make sure you tour the famous Indiana University campus, which has also been named as one of the most beautiful college campuses in the United States. Many of its buildings at this almost 200 year old university are constructed from Indiana limestone, and are utilized by over 40,000 students per year.


If you’re traveling with children, you’ll want to make the Jellystone Park at Lake Monroe headquarters for your fifth wheel vacation in the state. Located just outside downtown Bloomington, this is an RV park the kids will love. With full hookups, a huge inflatable jumping pillow, indoor and outdoor pools (including a shallow kids splash area), free Wifi and many themed events throughout the summer, this is family adventure at its best.
